WWE’s biggest event of the year, WrestleMania 39, is coming for fans on April 1st and 2nd. That huge event will feature some of the biggest names the company has to offer, including Brock Lesnar. That being said, the match that WWE has planned for the Beast Incarnate left fans less than satisfied.

As seen on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, Omos challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at the upcoming WrestleMania 39 premium live event. MVP issued the challenge on behalf of The Nigerian Giant. MVP asked Lesnar to show up on WWE RAW next week to answer Omos’ challenge. Fans are not happy at all about this booking decision for Lesnar.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Brock Lesnar vs Omos is the current plan for WrestleMania 39. It was also stated that this match was changed in the last week or two.

Brock Lesnar vs. Omos. The only thing we know is that whatever the Lesnar plan was, and it wasn’t Gunther, that is that it changed in the last week or two. Next week on Raw they are doing an angle that would either set up this match, or the angle is a swerve for something else. But television would lead you to believe this is it.

We’ll have to see how Brock Lesnar vs Omos pans out. Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that this match was not a Vince McMahon call. In fact, it has been refuted that Mr. McMahon has any hand in WrestleMania plans, or WWE creative at all for that matter.

It’s unknown who WWE planned as Brock Lesnar’s opponent originally, but it wasn’t Omos. This could also settle down some conspiracy theories, knowing that WWE originally wanted to go another direction with The Beast Incarnate’s WrestleMania 39 match.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
