Khloé Kardashian’s stock continues to rise because of how effortlessly she carries herself, as well as her multiple businesses. However, the television personality is currently in hot water as she has reportedly been sued by one of her former employees.

The Good American co-founder was recently sued by a GA employee and now a former assistant is suing her. According to documents obtained by The Blast, Khloe is being sued by Matthew Manhard.

Khloe and her company, “KhloMoney,” are both being sued. The former employee claims that KhloMoney hired him as a “household assistant to Kardashian (Khloe)” on or around January 28, 2019. He says Khloe was directly in charge of deciding his pay, working hours, and/or working conditions. Manhard claims that KhloMoney intentionally avoided paying overtime and double-time wages as required by California law by its payroll policies and practices.

As a result, KhloMoney was able to make illegal profits and gain an unjustified advantage over rivals who followed the law. Manhard asserts that he was a non-exempt worker who was qualified for overtime pay at all times relevant to this complaint based on information he has access to.

Manhard claims he sustained a knee injury in May 2022 in addition to unpaid overtime wages. He informed Khloe and asked for a leave of absence. He let Khloe know when he was prepared to return, but she informed him that she didn’t have any work for him. Manhard thinks and says Khloe fired him on or around November 9, 2022. According to the documents obtained,

“Manhard has suffered both general and special damages in the past and present and will continue to suffer such damages in the future for an unknown period of time. Manhard has also suffered and continues to suffer losses in earnings and other employment benefits, as well as past and future non-economic injury.

This has caused damage to Manhard’s professional reputation, as well as Manhard’s income and other benefits. Moreover, Manhard has also suffered, and continues to suffer, extensive general damages in the form of anxiety, anguish, and mental suffering.”

Manhard also asserts that he was not given the required meal and rest breaks. Her claims that with reasonable accommodations for his disabilities, he was capable of carrying out the essential job functions and would not have placed an undue burden on KhloMoney. However, no specific amount has been requested for specific damages. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get more updates regarding the ongoing story.
