The Rock Rumored To Replace Johnny Depp In ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Franchise

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, although now a major Hollywood star, remains a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling and maintains a strong connection to the industry. He is always part of huge film franchises and now it seems The Rock could just end up replacing Johnny Depp in ‘Aladdin 2.’

Johnny Depp suffered a lot due to his assault and abuse allegations made by Amber Heard. This included him losing roles in ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ and other films. This includes his acting in ‘Aladdin 2.’

According to Insidethemagic, rumors have suggested that The Rock could be replacing Johnny Depp in the Pirates Of The Caribbean.’ This was one of many rumors surrounding The Rock as well.

Of course, whether or not The Rock will end up replacing Johnny Depp in the franchise is an entirely different topic altogether. This is because Disney themselves have yet to confirm any of this.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for The Rock and what other franchises he will be a part of. One thing is for sure – he will not be returning to the Fast & Furious franchise.
