Seth Rollins Compares Road To WrestleMania With The NFL Playoffs

WrestleMania is one of the greatest events in professional wrestling history. As the Road To WrestleMania started at the Royal Rumble, the hype for the illustrious event increases as each day passes. This is a special day in the career of a WWE superstar. In fact, a prominent WWE superstar has compared it to the NFL playoffs.

As WrestleMania approaches, Seth Rollins talked about the place WrestleMania holds in his heart. While appearing on an interview with Windy City Gridiron, The Architect had this to say.

“Yeah, there’s nothing like it. For myself, someone who’s been in WWE for ten years now, I’ve been able to wrestle all over the world in front of different crowds in different stadiums and you know, you just get desensitized to it a little bit. But WrestleMania is the one thing, the one time of the year where the nerves never wear off and you live for that moment. You build your legacies at WrestleMania. In the post season of the NFL, that’s where quarterbacks build their legacies in big games. For us in WWE, that’s where you create your legacy. It doesn’t get any bigger. This one is in Hollywood, all eyes are gonna be on us for two nights in April. It’s gonna be special.”

Seth Rollins emerged victorious in his first WrestleMania in 2013, where he competed as part of The Shield against Sheamus, Big Show and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 29. Seth Rollins went on to appear in every WrestleMania in the following years bar WrestleMania 32 where he was sidelined due to injuries.

Seth Rollins was also the first WWE Superstar to cash in Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania. At WrestleMania 31, The Architect cashed in the MITB on WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Rollins went on to win the title marking his first World Title win.

As it stands, there is no news of Seth Rollins’ plans for WrestleMania 39, but Logan Paul is his expected opponent. However, he is set to compete in the upcoming Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship. Rollins recently called out Logan Paul on the Pat Mcafee podcast where he questioned his passion for pro wrestling.For more updates stay tuned to Ringside News.
