Rihanna’s Dad Says She Has Considered ‘A Few Names’ For Baby Son

Rihanna remains one of the most influential pop stars in music history. She has developed a huge fan base that spans the globe thanks to her consistent hits and incredible music. However, RiRi gave birth to a baby boy in May 2022 with her longtime love, rapper A$AP Rocky. With that being said, the singer’s dad recently said that she has gone through a “few names” for the little boy but unfortunately he can’t reveal the names.

In an interview with Page Six, Ronald Fenty, the superstar singer’s father discussed being a loving grandpa to Rihanna’s son. Ronald claimed that Rihanna and Rocky had twice come with the infant to Barbados, Rihanna’s native island. When asked how the celebrity was adjusting to becoming a mother, he responded,

“She’s loving it. She’s a very overprotective mother. Everybody says [the baby] looks like me, but you know, babies change, faces change. He [resembles] a lot of Rihanna and Rocky together.”

Ronald thinks that Rocky, who has referred to Rihanna as “the love of my life,” is “such a cool guy.” He continued by saying that the rapper is “very respectable. He’s taking to fatherhood very well.”

However, there was one detail that the proud grandpa would not disclose and that is the baby’s name. He has revealed that Rihanna had considered “a few names” for the small boy, adding, “She’ll have my head if I tell you!”

Fenty was asked whether Rihanna and Rocky intend to get married, to which he replied, “I don’t know about marriage, I really don’t know.”

In other parts of the interview, Fenty discussed RiRi’s much-anticipated performance at the 2023 Super Bowl. “Everybody is saying that football is just opening up for her — it’s the Rihanna show,” Fenty said.

“It’s the moment that everybody has been waiting for.”
