Rachel Bilson was launched into our living rooms as Zoe Hart, a medical doctor in Hart Of Dixie. The actress recently appeared in public for the Accused screening and panel discussion at the 2023 SCAD TVFest. However, just before the event, Bilson reportedly received a restraining order against a stalker.
For the special screening of the Fox series, the actress was joined by the series creator Howard Gordon and co-stars Reid Miller and Jack Davenport. However, according to court records obtained by RadarOnline, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved Bilson’s request for a protective order against Clyde, a 40-year-old man.
Radar claims that the man traveled by car from his home in Georgia to meet her in Los Angeles. The court papers also show that he got her phone number and tried to enter into her house several times. “There have been many incidents, messages on social media, letters but most alarmingly, there have been multiple attempts to visit, come into my home,” Rachel shared with the court.
“He refers to me as ‘baby’ and calls me his ‘future wife’ and indicates that he believes I am pregnant with his child. I have never met him and have absolutely no intention of doing so.”
The restraining order forbids Clyde from approaching Bilson or Briar Rose Christensen, the 8-year-old daughter she shares with her ex-husband Hayden, within 100 yards of them. The alleged stalker is also forbidden from being in contact with Bilson or harassing her in any way. The restraining order will remain in effect until February 9, 2026.
