Los Angeles Rams’ football running back, Rookie Ronnie Rivers, has created a significant amount of hype in the industry. However this time, it wasn’t his game that made the headlines, but rather his good fortune. Recently, Rookie Ronnie Rivers of the Los Angeles Rams won $500,000 in a Vegas casino.

Rookie Ronnie Rivers nearly doubled his entire NFL Rookie salary in one evening. The Los Angeles Rams running back won $500,000 playing cards at a Las Vegas casino. On Saturday, the 24-year-old struck it lucky at the Mega Progressive Jackpot table at Caesars Palace in Sin City.

At the three-card poker table, Rivers made the most unlikely hand possible: a Royal Flush. The probability of receiving an RF is 1 in 649,000. The moment Rivers and his friend saw the jackpot symbol at the table rise to over $514,000, they went crazy.

Rookie’s companion yelled, “Ronnie! 500,000!” The fact that he got this prize on a special weekend, his and his mother’s birthday, makes it even better. The former Fresno State RB, who went undrafted, signed with the Rams practice squad in September 2022 before making it to the regular team a few months later.
