Pamela Anderson rose to fame in the 1990s as a cast member on the television series “Baywatch” and went on to become a successful actress, model, and television host. And she has revealed all the details about her life in an upcoming memoir called “Love Pamela,” including how her ex-husband Tommy Lee’s caused her to almost overdose on Advil and vodka.

The trouble began when Pamela was cast in the 1996 movie Barb Wire. Days on the set of the movie were long and demanding, according to Pamela, who was also filming Baywatch and getting used to life as a newlywed. “When I came back to rest between scenes, [Tommy] would purposely mess up my hair and makeup and unlace my corset,” Pamela stated.

“A tactic used to spend more time together. Because I was his, he’d said. He wanted his “wife time.” All of his antics kept getting us in trouble.”

Pamela claims that Tommy’s assault on a producer, who asked him to go home, was the catalyst for everything that happened. Despite being banned from the set, Tommy would occasionally cross the line and enter his wife’s trailer. “I was used to his behavior and initially thought it was funny,” Pam admitted.

“I interpreted it as his showing me how much he loved me and that he needed me to show him more attention.”

Pamela acknowledged that this was a “challenging” period for her. After being introduced to “speedy diet pills, ephedrine” by a friend, which managed to help her stay awake throughout the long days, she felt some relief.

“The side effects meant I was losing weight fast. I looked like a bowlegged skeleton in a bathing suit, 105 pounds at 5 foot 7.”

Pam’s pals started to become concerned, especially after she started to “withdraw on and off set.” Pamela’s erotic scenes were even changed when Tommy was present around.

“[Tommy] got so angry and jealous when [she] had scenes with other men, especially if [she] was kissing someone else.”

Pamela came dangerously close to committing suicide as a result of all the pressure her new husband was putting on her. “One day, I didn’t show up to set,” Pamela recalled.

“It wasn’t like me, I was never late to work. I was always early, in fact. The drive, Fal, came to my condo to find me unconscious on the floor. He picked me up, put me in his truck and drove me straight to the hospital.

I was confused, sad, tired, not in my right mind,” she wrote. “I had gotten into the bathtub the night before and tried to swallow Advil with vodka, sinking slowly under the water. But luckily, I couldn’t stand the taste of hard alcohol and the nausea forced me out of the tub.”

However, when Pam learned she was expecting a baby, things between her and Tommy calmed down, even though she miscarried. Following the incident, Tommy temporarily altered his behavior, and the couple went on to have two sons. But in 1998, they got divorced. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get more updates.
