Logan Paul rose to fame through his successful career as a YouTuber and professional boxer. His popularity soared even higher following his notable performances in WWE, where he demonstrated impressive skills in his matches against The Miz and Roman Reigns. That being said, Logan Paul decided to call out Andrew Tate for a UFC fight.
Andrew Tate is one of the most controversial influencers on the planet. Tate gained a lot of notoriety for his misogynistic views against women. Last month, Andrew Tate was arrested on charges of human trafficking and kidnapping. Tate was arrested along with his brother. Officials detained him in Bucharest and also charged him with sexual assault and running an organized crime ring.
The Maverick had previously stated that he has no intention of squaring off against Andrew Tate because he did not want to give him a platform. However, now it seems he has backtracked from that stance.
While speaking on the TimboSugar Show, hosted by Sean O’Malley and his trainer Tim Welch, Logan Paul made it clear that the idea of facing Tate is an enticing one as he wanted to beat him up and send him home on a stretcher. He then proceeded to call out Tate for a fight in the UFC.
“So I got a solution, why don’t we do something that both of us have never done? Clean record, 0 and 0, let us step into the f***ing octagon brother. An MMA fight, me vs. Tate, in the UFC. Bro, he knows how to kick, I can’t throw a kick for my life. He has two of the three skillsets, I have two of the three skillsets. He’s a world champion kickboxer, I’m a YouTuber with no wins, bro. What are you f***ing running from?”
Andrew Tate is currently incarcerated and unable to enter into or sign a contract for a fight until his legal matters are resolved. We will have to wait and see whether the two will end up facing each other in the future.
