Naomi Osaka Announces Pregnancy with First Child

Naomi Osaka and Cordae have been publicly dating since 2019. They are still going strong as a couple and now their little bundle of happiness is on its way as they are expecting their first child together.

Naomi recently took to Twitter to reveal the significant life update that she is expecting her first child and TMZ Sports confirmed that it’s with the rapper. The four-time grand slam winner shared a photo of a sonogram of a baby from last month and wrote, “Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023.”

Naomi also posted screenshots of a message she wrote in both English and Japanese. “The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” she began.

“These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha.”

Osaka, however, stated that while she won’t be competing in the meantime, she still intends to attend the Australian Open in 2024. “I don’t think there’s a perfectly correct path to take in life but I always felt that if you move forward with good intentions you’ll find your way eventually,” she added.

However, congratulations to the couple! This is undoubtedly a wonderful time for them as they start a brand-new chapter in their lives.
