The Atlanta Falcons social media team seemed to have developed a conscience. This is because they decided to remove a tweet that seemed to mock Ohio State kicker Noah Ruggles for missing a game-winning field goal over the weekend.

According to TMZ, the now-deleted tweet was published right after ATL’s Younghoe Koo hit a 21-yarder to lead the Falcons to a 20-19 home win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Ruggles was in a similar position on Saturday night in the College Football Playoff semi-finals against the Georgia Bulldogs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Unfortunately, Noah Ruggles’ 50-yard attempt ended up wide left, dashing the hopes of Ohio State.

Unsurprisingly, the tweet from the Falcons received a lot of criticism from fans, as many pointed out the fact that Ruggles is still just a child and that he is kicking himself for it already. Thankfully, they deleted the tweet and we hope such an incident never happens again.
