Johnny Depp was in the spotlight for the majority of this year as he went through a defamation court case with his ex-wife Amber Heard. Heard’s accusations against Johnny Depp pretty much put the actor on the outside looking in, and many major production companies, including Disney and Warner Bros., decided to take other roads. With that being said, one of Depp’s films has recently suffered as a result of the controversy he is currently facing.

Streaming company Netflix will stop streaming Blow (2001) from January 1, 2023. The film, which only has a 55% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, depicts the rise and decline of cartel kingpin and cocaine importer George Jung (Johnny Depp).

However, many fans have pondered Johnny Depp’s future because his legal troubles are largely over. Depp is currently filming Jeanne du Barry in Europe but rumored fights between him and the director Maiwenn have some people wondering if he’ll be permanently blacklisted by Hollywood.

Several European production companies are looking to work with Johnny Depp, according to a report from The News International. But Disney and other major Hollywood studios are keeping away from the actor despite his victory in the defamation case against Amber Heard.
