Nash appeared on the most recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, wherein he opened up about the situation. His son, Tristen, was only 26 years old at the time of passing. It seems that his death was brought on by a seizure.
The seizure caused a cardiac arrest. He was basically dead in his room on the floor with the EMT working on him, and they got him back, they got him in the ambulance and.. trying to save his life, so.. to the people at Halifax Hospital, doctors and nurses, I thank you.
Tristen was in his room when he had suffered the seizure. Following the seizure he had been rushed to the hospital. However, Tristen unfortunately lost his life.
Nash also shared that Tristen had been feeling unwell in the days preceding. Both Tristen and Kevin Nash had decided to give up drinking. However, alcohol withdrawal can be quite dangerous in some cases.
It was a situation where we both went cold turkey. I don’t think either of us felt great, because you stop drinking coffee for a day and you get a headache. I think we were both dealing with it, but also because we’re so close to the cruise lines here, that Norovirus s**t is always prevalent.
Nash shared that Tristen had decided to quit drinking because he had faced alcohol-related incidents earlier, and had been hospitalized for 60 days earlier this year due to dependency.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin Nash and his family. May Tristen rest in peace.
