Stacey Abrams is using her celebrity connections to gain support before the election. And this led to her being on stage with Latto to talk about abortion rights in Georgia.

While Latto was performing “P*ssy,” the anthem she penned after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the candidate for governor made her entrance during the rapper’s Saturday night Atlanta performance. Latto was doing her performance while Abrams was rocking it with backup dancers while carrying a placard that read “my body, my choice” over her head the entire time.

Abrams came up to address the crowd when the song was over, saying, “I just want to remind you that if you believe in my body, my choice, I need your vote.” Abrams yelled, “I need your big energy. Let’s get it!” referencing the mega-hit by Latto.

Early voting has already begun in Georgia, where Abrams debated Brian Kemp, the current governor of the state, last week. Oprah Winfrey is already campaigning for Abrams in the Peach State, and we may expect to see her at a number of celebrity events in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
