The earliest reactions to “Black Adam” came out the other day and the viewers are completely in love with the movie. Fans are also praising Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for the dedication and work he’s put into bringing the film to the silver screen.

The Rock was recently asked about his approach to bringing “Black Adam” to life. The Rock was also asked if his current approach to making films at DC is similar to Marvel’s. Safe to say that The Rock has an entirely different approach to making things work and he’s telling fans about it.

“Do I think we’re going to take any kind of bite out or Marvel? that answer is unequivocally ‘no.’ Because, to me, as we build out the DC Universe and ushering in a new era is not our ultimate goal… to take a bite out of Marvel.

“What they’ve done is incredible, what Kevin Feige has done is incredible. And I love those guys. They’re all my friends. And they’re largely responsible for the economic drive of our business for almost two decades.

“So, we don’t wanna be Marvel. We wanna be DC and how we do things. That’s what I want. I don’t wanna take a bite out of that apple. I wanna grab a new apple and I wanna create from there.”

Black Adam arrives in theaters on October 21, 2022. Keep reading Thirsty for more.
