Troy Aikman is in the news for all the wrong reasons. The football season is on, but during the season, and in the heat of the moment, people tend to speak something that isn’t ethically correct.

TMZ reports that Troy is publicly making a statement about his controversial remarks, saying that they were dumb and shouldn’t have been spoken. He made a radio appearance on 96.7 The Ticket.

My comments were dumb, just shouldn’t have made them. Just dumb remarks on my part.

The three-time Super Bowl champ said some controversial words during the broadcast which sparked annoyance among fans. He isn’t the only one in this situation.

My hope is the competition committee looks at this in the next set of meetings, and, you know, we take the dresses off.

The above quote was made by Troy and fans were annoyed. The penalty has been a part of this season, especially with Tua Tagovailoa’s injuries and the call Tom Brady received against the Falcons.

Aikman, however, isn’t alone in his gripes with the NFL — HOF head coach Tony Dungy took to Twitter to express his confusion with how rules are being enforced against quarterbacks.

What do you think of the comments? Chime in.
