Beyoncé is without a doubt one of the most influential pop stars in music history. She may be known as the “greatest of all time”, but that doesn’t mean she stays away from the heat. British duo Right Said Fred recently called Beyoncé “such an arrogant person” for using ‘I’m Too Sexy’ without permission.

The British duo recently claimed that everyone else who wanted to use the well-known song asked for permission, but Beyoncé didn’t because she is “arrogant.” Right Said Fred is the newest band to criticize Beyoncé for using interpolations or samples of their most well-known songs on the Renaissance album.

The successful song “I’m Too Sexy” by brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass was a smash hit in 1991. They are upset that the superstar singer didn’t contact them before adding it to “Alien Superstar.” Right Said Fred complained to the UK tabloid The Sun about Beyonce’s arrogancé.

Normally the artist approaches us but Beyoncé didn’t because she is such an arrogant person. She just had probably thought ‘come and get me,’ so we heard about it after the fact, when you did. We cant stop it. There is nothing we can do. It is sh-t.

They continued by saying that, in contrast to Beyoncé, Drake and Taylor Swift “came to us.” The song is used in Drizzy’s 2021 hit “Way 2 Sexy” alongside Future and Young Thug. The song was used in Taylor Swift’s 2017 single “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The duo has no plans to pursue legal action. Although Beyoncé hasn’t responded to the British group’s remarks, she might do so in a similar manner to how she did in response to Kelis’ complaint. Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest news and updates.
