Kanye West publicly declared his support for Donald Trump during the business mogul’s election campaign in 2016. Ye met Trump in 2018 and wore a controversial head accessory to the White House. Now’s he’s recalling the threats he received after he met Trump at the White House.

Kanye West claimed he received death threats for wearing a red MAGA hat to the Trump meeting during his recent interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Ye revealed he’s receiving similar threats over his latest Yeezy shirt design.

“I would be killed for wearing the hat.”

Kanye said someone called him recently and said anyone wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt will be “greenlit” to get jumped, noting that such threats won’t stop him from wearing the shirt himself.
