Shaquille O’Neal has established himself as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Jeff Bezos, on the other hand, is the world’s second-richest person and was the wealthiest from 2017 to 2021.

TMZ reports, Shaq isn’t interested in outspending Jeff Bezos for the Phoenix Suns. However, if the billionaire wishes to join forces in an effort to acquire the NBA franchise, The Big Diesel has stated that he is willing to do so. Shaq claims he was initially interested in buying Robert Sarver’s share in the organization after the disgraced owner announced last month that he was selling it.

However, when he found out Bezos potentially wanted in, he was all out. Shaq said that even with his deep pockets, he has a net worth of around $400 million. He had no desire to compete with Bezos’ bank account.

“Nobody on this planet can compete with Big Man JB,” Shaq told the outlet this week.

Because you know what? I just ordered 50 things off Amazon today. Big Man JB got that money coming in!

If Bezos wanted Shaq’s help and a little of his money, O’Neal says he’s willing to help. “If he wants me on board, I would gladly like to talk to him,” Shaq said.

But, as far as trying to own a whole team by myself, and go up against — let me tell you something, I’m scared of Big Man JB. Shaq O’Neal is scared of Big Man JB!

It’s unclear whether Bezos has a genuine interest in the team or whether he’d even consider partnering with the NBA star. However, Shaq has a few months to figure it all out because Sarver is still in the early phases of selling off his shares of the team. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
