Lil Nas X is known to be eccentric, though usually to a fault. His career is littered with moments where he takes up a gimmick and takes it to its absurd end. However, this time X made headlines simply because he had to answer nature’s calling.

The rapper was performing in one of his two Long Live Montero Tour points in Atlanta. In the middle of the concert, X left the stage after saying that he was going to be back in “like a minute or two” because he has to take “a mean s—.”

I’m backstage, and this is, like, not a part of the show, but I’m taking a mean s—, so please forgive me. But I’m gonna be like a minute or two, and I’ll be right back

Lil Nas X’s concert attendees thought he was merely joking. The video of his statement on Twitter is going viral as fans continue to react to it. The rapper later confirmed that he was serious while responding to the clip where he tells the audience he’d be in a minute.

lmao people really thought i was joking, i was literally back there dropping demons into that toilet

The rapper had his emergency at the Coca-Cola Roxy venue, where the concerts were held on September 27 and 28. The “Industry Baby” performer is known for pulling small provocations like that, but this time, it was definitely urgent.
