Taylor Swift is a musical genius who has released several chart-topping hits this decade. Her talents are not limited to singing and songwriter, she is also an incredible performer. Even Super Bowl wanted Swift to headline the halftime show earlier this year, but she had to decline the offer for a certain reason.

According to TMZ, Super Bowl executives approached Swift earlier this year and asked if she’d headline. The singer turned down the opportunity because she does not want to perform until she has completed re-recording all of her first six albums.

It was also noted that Taylor would love to headline the Super Bowl halftime show but her schedule is too tight. She has four more albums she has to re-record. Depending on when Swift is finished recording those, we might be able to see the singer perform in the coming years.

Swift has worked to improve the music business for both her fellow musicians and herself. The singer vowed to re-record all her albums after her former label Big Machine Records sold her music catalog without her permission. Redoing the albums will essentially give Swift her ownership back.
