Elias Theodorou was a Canadian mixed martial artist who competed for the UFC in the Middleweight division where he was ranked 13th until his release. The former UFC fighter sadly passed away on Sunday after a liver cancer struggle. He was only 34 years old.

Theodorou had bravely battled stage 4 liver cancer. He only disclosed his diagnosis to a small group of people who were close to him. Elias was a friendly and gregarious guy outside the cage, but he was a great boxer within.

Theodorou amassed an 8-3 record while competing in the UFC. It includes victories over Eryk Anders and Sam Alvey. He also supported the usage of medical marijuana in combat sports as well because he thought it was healthier and more advantageous than using pharmaceutical medications.

Elias last competed in December 2021, defeating Bryan Baker by unanimous decision at Colorado Combat Club 10. Professionally, ET had a record of 19-3. Theodorou made history in 2018 when he worked the all-female MMA promotion Invicta FC and strutted around the cage like Arianny Celeste.
