Chris Brown last recent meet and greet was a huge success, with many delighted fans meeting him. Recently, a Chris Brown impersonator denied charging $1,500 for fan meet-and-greets, but that might be hard to do.

According to XXL, an image of a Chris Brown doppelgänger appeared online over the weekend, with the phrase “Going to be in Detroit this weekend, meet and greets $1,500″ written on top of it.”

Earlier this summer, the father of three caused a sensation with his own $1,000 meet-and-greets, which included up close and personal images with the R&B singer and were heavily lambasted online, although Megan Thee Stallion followed suit with a similar idea not long after.

As fans may recall, the expense of celebrity photo sessions raised eyebrows, but now that “Chris Grey,” as he’s been called on social media, is supposedly charging, even more, social media has something to say once more.

“How y’all gone act like this ain’t Cringe Brown, bro? $1,500 for a meet and greet?!? Miss me with the BS. Who in the whole hell is paying $1,500 for a photo session? After all the money spent on tickets, this is an insult to fans. But, if the fans want to pay it, it isn’t my business.”

The Chris Brown impersonator has since been identified on Instagram as @tysonwuthi, though he is apparently rejecting any charges of organizing such pricey meet-ups.

“THESE ARE ALL LIES ABOUT ME… I HAVEN’T MADE AN AGREEMENT WITH ANYONE,” he wrote on his Story. “I WOULD NEVER DO THAT… THE MEDIA LIES TO YOU JUST TO MAKE THE FANS GET MAD AT ME… DON’T BELIEVE IT.”

Brown, on the contrary hand, has opposed the idea of pricey meet-ups. Do you agree with Brown’s point of view? Let us know in the comments. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
