Afroman is one of the more popular rappers in the hip-hop industry right now. However, his luck has not been the best lately as his week ended with a lot of police activity.

According to TMZ, Afroman’s house was raided by law enforcement, who were on a drug hunt. He claimed that the Adams County Sheriff’s Department raided his property on Sunday with their weapons drawn and orders being shouted.

It was said they were looking for drugs but found nothing. Afroman stated he is not sure why they thought he was hiding illegal substances. The rapper claimed he only had a jar of hemp and a vape pen.

The rapper added that he wasn’t home at the time as he was in Chicago. Afroman was notified by his neighbors, who got video and photos of the raid. Afroman believes he was profiled due to his music.

As fans know, Afroman has a long history of rapping about weed and other misadventures. The rapper stated that it could have to do with him checking on a police report regarding a burglary at his home.

“One time my house got burglarize while I was on tour. For home insurance purposes I tried to fill out a police report. The cop came out three days later he told me they was really busy. He took my report. I would call every day and see if there was any progress being made. The Adams county sheriff department threaten to arrest me for checc-ing up on the case too frequently.

I excepted the fact that the police department is not necessary here to protect and serve me a blacc man in America so I just took my loss and never called bacc. Now here they are kicc-ing in my door looking for weapons of mass destruction and 100,000,000 pounds of weed lol wow Donald Trump calls these investigations witchhunts.”

If anything, we know that the man who made a song exclusively about weed smoking isn’t packing any significant weight in Ohio. Then again, Ohio is a state where medical marijuana is legal, so perhaps Afroman got his paperwork in order so he could still keep Mary Jane around and Johnny Law won’t be able to say another about it.

We certainly hope Afroman does not have to face such an incident ever again, especially when he was completely innocent in this case.
