2022 has to be the worst year for Will Smith professionally and personally. His reputation has hit a brick wall, but Big Willie is trying to make a comeback. The road to redemption has been weird, to say the least.

Smith has been testing the waters on returning to social media waters after taking a hiatus following his worldwide controversial Oscars moment involving slapping Chris Rock on stage. He shared a video on Instagram featuring a young gorilla poking a more oversized gorilla from behind.

The larger gorilla would then swipe the younger gorilla away, only for the latter to return to start the process all over again. Smith captioned the video short and to the point.

“Me trying to get back on social.”

The majority of the comments were positive with many celebrities and fans showing Smith support, from celebrities to fans alike. We’ll see what happens with Will Smith being on the road to redemption tour to the public ever since his sincere apology on Instagram to Rock and his family recently. We’re hoping for the best because the Fresh Prince could be sorting some things out still.
