Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were an ideal couple, but they split up and surprised fans. There are several controversies surrounding this separation, and Kanye West’s influence is implicated in these controversies, which is why Pete is undergoing therapy.
Page Six reported that Kim Kardashian is “extremely supportive” of Pete Davidson’s choice to seek therapy after being bullied by Kanye West, her ex-husband. Since word of Kardashian and the “Saturday Night Live” star’s relationship broke, West has been mocking Davidson online, even giving him the nickname “Skete.”
When Kardashian and the “King of Staten Island” star split last week, West released a phony newspaper cover declaring “Skete’s” death. Kim was enraged by Kanye’s behavior and quickly called him to delete the post. According to a source, Kim was overly supportive of Pete’s participation in the therapy. Even Davidson also received death threats from West’s supporters, which is why he was in “trauma therapy” in April.
“Kim was very supportive of Pete going to therapy.”
“Kanye was very detrimental. He was posting negative things — now add thousands and thousands of comments. Someone has to work with you to deal with something like that.”
“Getting death threats from [Kanye’s] fans and all the negative attention online doesn’t feel good for the average person — add someone who’s struggled with mental illness, and it’s even worse.”
Davidson has always been forthright about his mental health problems. In 2018, he sparked outrage when he posted an update on Instagram. Indeed, he applauded West, who has publicly grappled with mental health issues, for being upfront about them.
“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I actually don’t know how much longer i can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people.”
“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health.”
“I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye.”
After Kardashian and Davidson broke their nine-month romance, West reacted by posting on Instagram about Davidson’s false death, and insiders said Kardashian was “livid and terribly distraught.” Davidson has not publicly replied to the post, but according to the insider, Kardashian is fed up with West’s abuse.
Meanwhile, Davidson has been in Australia for almost three months working on a project, where “he’s been able to recuperate like a regular person,” according to the second source. According to the first source, Davidson “is still in therapy, but focusing on his film.” The source added that “the distance from the public eye has probably been good in a way.”
Despite the rapper’s impact on Davidson’s health, sources claimed that West did not cause his divorce from Kardashian. According to multiple accounts, the breakup was caused by “distance and schedules.” A third source described the breakup as “clean and amicable as it could be.” The source added that they tried to prosper their relationship but this didn’t happen.
“As much as they both wanted the relationship to work and enjoyed being together when they could be, they realized that it might be months at a time when they could see each other, so they decided it would be best to be friends.”
Even after the breakup, Kim sought to help Pete with his condition. This could be Kim’s nature of benevolence. However, the pair have separated; let us see if they can reunite in the future. What are your thoughts? Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
