Jake Gyllenhaal will lead a remake of the cult classic movie ‘Road House’ for Amazon. The film will reimagine the Patrick Swayze classic for a new generation. If the remake is anything like the 1989 hit, producers will need some believable brawlers to make everything work.

The film tells the story of a UFC fighter who turns into a bar bouncer at a rough bar in the Florida Keys. Jake Gyllenhaal will play the part. The filmmakers have also added a legit UFC star to make things more believable.

According to TMZ Sports, Conor McGregor will make his feature film debut in ‘Road House.’ McGregor’s role has not yet been announced. Conor’s representative Karen Kessler said McGregor is excited to be a part of it all.

“Conor McGregor is very excited to expand his storied career to Hollywood and join with Jake Gyllenhaal in this reimagining of ‘Road House’, a beloved classic.

Conor McGregor was offered the part after a meeting with producer Joel Silver. When he heard there was interest in casting him, he watched the original movie. McGregor felt like he was the perfect guy for the role, and now he’s going Hollywood.
