Logan Paul is currently at the height of his career. While having a successful celebrity boxing career, he’s landed a multi-year deal with WWE. Logan Paul recently came under fire for his extremely negative review of “Nope.”

The Maverick recently posted a thread detailing why he didn’t appreciate Jordan Peele’s most recent horror movie. He immediately got slammed and appeared to be the most despised person on Twitter. Logan referred to the film as “one of the worst” he had ever seen in a series of posts outlining his issues with it.

NOPE is one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a long time. I love Jordan Peele and Keke Palmer can act her -ss off, but this movie is objectively slow and confusing with stretched themes that don’t justify the pace. I love Peele, the VFX & aesthetic. But my thesis is this: I can feel him attempting to recreate the shock from Get Out and Us. Mystery, violent allure & cinematic choices made for the sake of reaction instead of [a] legitimate contribution to the storyline killed this movie for me.

After going into various spoiler-filled arguments for why he didn’t like the movie, he got dragged all over. Paul’s own filmography was quickly mentioned by fans of Peele’s most recent movie. It features numerous critically-panned movies, including The Thinning and Valley Girl.

One fan wrote: “So you’re telling me the movie’s very clear commentary on spectacle (and the lengths people will go to capture it) was totally missed by Logan Paul, the guy that vlogged himself and his friends laughing at a dead body in the Aokigahara forest in Japan. The irony is beyond cosmic.” Nope won the top spot at the box office during its first weekend despite Paul’s criticism, earning $44 million.
