AJ Dillon was in attendance at Lambeau Field to watch Manchester City take on FC Bayern. The soccer game was postponed indefinitely due to inclement weather. It’s also evident when Dillon leaped over the guardrail to cheer up the crowd. An irate cop on duty, on the other hand, acted quite inappropriately.

Dillon was permitted to be on the field during the weather delay by two security guards. The security even guided him out of his seat and onto the field. However, fan video shows a cop getting physical with Dillon. Unruly yanking and shoving the running back.

Dillon on the other hand, feels no resentment as he feels miscommunication was prevalent. Dillon even tweeted about the incident yesterday where he seem to appreciate the police presence at the game.

“Just miscommunication between parties,” “The @GBPolice are great people and I’m glad we have them down there for our games to keep us safe. Standing there in the pouring rain with all those people it’s hard to know what’s going on with just one. All good.”

A spokesperson for the Green Bay Police made additional comments to explain the incident to TMZ. Further statements indicate an investigation is being launched due to the nature of the incident.

“The Green Bay Police Department appreciates the perspective and supportive words from Mr. Dillon. The Green Bay Police Department Professional Standards/Internal Affairs Division has initiated a review of this incident.”

The Green Bay Packers signed 24-year-old AJ Dillon to a 4-year contract. From playing at Boston College to being in NFL territory, the young running back has a lot of angst inside him and still wants to let it all hang out. AJ Dillon’s patience with the incident exemplifies how well-mannered and mature he is at the age of 24. You have to give him credit for that.
