Britney Spears has been living her best life after her lengthy conservatorship finally came to an end. Just past month, she got married and has been traveling the world. However, it’s no secret that she’s constantly involved in a messy affair with her family.

PageSix reported, the pop star posted and then promptly deleted screenshots of text messages she claims she sent her mom, friend and lawyer after allegedly being forced into a mental health facility in 2019. Spears wrote on Instagram early Monday, “It’s a little different with proof,”

In the first screenshot, the “Toxic” singer wrote to her mother, Lynne Spears, “He was saying he wants to UP the seraquil [sic] and I’m like whoaaaaaaa horsey go f–k yourslwf [sic].” She also said, “Seraquil I thought was a sleep aid but it’s for bipolar and is WAAAAAY Stronger than lithium.” It is unclear whether Britney was referring to a doctor or her father, Jamie Spears, who controlled her medical care as her conservator.

According to WebMD, Seroquel, also known as quetiapine, is an antipsychotic medication that treats mood disorders including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Meanwhile, Britney continued in her text to Lynne. “I literally feel alll [sic] the sick medicine in my stomach, I feel like he’s trying to kill me. I swear to god I do.”

The 40-year-old artist claimed in her Instagram caption that she got “no response” from Lynne, who is 67, at the time. However, she did hear from her mom when she checked out of the facility. She said, “Her words were ‘You should have let me visit you and give you a hug,’” In the second screenshot, the “Crossroads” star asked her childhood friend Jansen Fitzgerald to help her find new counsel. You can check it all out below.

Spears quickly deleted these texts, and it’s probably for the best. We also have to wonder what kind of facility she was at that allowed cell phones, but that’s another matter.
