Kanye West is a phenomenal artist who helped shape the current rap culture. The rapper has accomplished a great deal of things outside of music as well. He is classified as a billionaire on the Forbes list, thanks to his Adidas Yeezy collection. Ye is also renowned for his unorthodox actions; the rapper recently backed out of Rolling Loud Miami 2022. Naturally, his vacant position was refilled, which angered many fans.

It was announced that Kid Cudi will be taking Kanye West’s place as the headliner of the Miami event. Fans quickly flocked to Twitter to vent out their frustration regarding Cudi as the replacement. The whole situation is funny as the two have been beefing for the past few months.

“If I go somewhere to see Kanye and Kid Cudi comes out instead, there will be mayhem,” one Twitter user commented. “As someone going honestly I like Cudi but I’m sad he doesn’t have the same headline level that Kanye did so it feels like a downgrade should’ve been trav [Travis] or simply bump carti up to the slot,” said another.

Kanye West has been keeping a relatively quiet profile as of late. The Chicago-native rapper pulled out of Coachella back in April, in another unexpected move. Many Kanye fans admire Kid Cudi, but when it comes to choosing sides, they almost always go with Ye. This is clear from Twitter’s reactions to Kanye getting replaced by Cudi. Take a look at the reactions below.
