Drew McIntyre became one of the most dependable Superstars in WWE in the past couple of years. He is one of the most beloved babyfaces in the company right now, and there is a good reason for that. He also commented on Tyson Fury potentially being part of his reported upcoming match against Roman Reigns.

For the past couple of years, WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury has been teasing a match against Drew McIntyre. The two have constantly taken shots at each other on social media as well. That being said, they have yet to lay a finger on each other.

While speaking with Wrestling Inc’s Managing Editor Nick Hausman, Drew McIntyre talked about Tyson Fury potentially being a referee in his match against Roman Reigns.

“Maybe. [Fury] gets it when it comes to entertainment. You see his character, how outspoken he is, very much like a pro wrestler, sports entertainer. When he was with us, he had such a respect and passion for our industry.

If WWE does bring in Tyson Fury for a match at Clash at the Castle, Roman Reigns definitely needs a new opponent. We’ll have to see whether Fury does become the referee for the match or not. Either way, having Tyson Fury attached to the show will still bring a ton of interest, no matter what.
