Ric Flair lost his spot with promotions such as AEW and WWE after Dark Side of the Ring aired the controversial “Plane Ride From Hell” episode. Fans were quick to criticize The Nature Boy. AEW President Tony Khan even stopped speaking to Flair in the wake of the episode.

It seems that WWE has given Flair his spot back, at least in their “Then, Now, Together, Forever” intro. Tonight’s Raw intro contained Ric Flair iconic “Wooooo!” That hadn’t been heard for quite some time. Whether that’s temporary or permanent remains to be seen.

Flair took to Twitter and thanked the sports and entertainment juggernaut for giving him back his dignity and life. The multi-time world champion prefaced the statement by saying that losing his spot with WWE was the most hurtful moment in his career.

The Most Hurtful Moment In My ENTIRE Career Was Losing My Spot. Thank You So Much For Giving Me Back My Dignity & My Life! @WWE @VinceMcMahon #WWERaw

Flair is set to wrestle his retirement match as part of the Starrcast wrestling convention on July 31st. The Nature Boy also wants to wrestle Vince McMahon at SummerSlam. We’ll see if that happens.
