Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s trial dominated headlines for the past couple of months, and it is not hard to see why. It ended up showing to the world just what kind of person Amber Heard really is. Heard also demanded the judge toss the verdict of her case.

Amber Heard suffered a major loss when Johnny Depp was able to prove in court that she acted in legitimate malice against him when publishing an op-ed piece. She will have to pay Depp a lot of money, and he might get her assets if she doesn’t pay up.

According to TMZ, Heard is demanding a judge toss the verdict against her defamation case. The actress’s lawyers filed new documentation in VA. She asked the judge to dismiss the complaint or order a new trial.

Heard argued that there wasn’t sufficient evidence presented on Johnny’s side to convince a jury that her words had hurt his career, despite the verdict. Heard’s team claimed Johnny Depp failed to prove she acted with actual malice, in the sense that there was little to no evidence offered.

Amber and her team claim that one of the jurors may not have actually been the person summoned to court, and that the court apparently missed it. The person is Juror #15, whose birth year on paper is 1945.

A judge has yet to rule on her filing. Johnny’s attorney, Ben Chew, stated this was to be expected. We’ll have to see what will become of Heard in the end.
