Joe Gorga is one of the biggest names on The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” as fans are aware by now. He is also known to be a controversial figure in the show as well. He also confronted a tenant for a good reason.

As revealed by a video obtained by TMZ, Joe Gorga could be seen screaming at one of his tenants in a rent dispute over an apartment complex that he owns. It boiled down to an all-out shouting contest.

The incident took place in Hawthorne, NJ. Joe’s lawyer claimed that the tenant has not paid rent for a few years and owes nearly $50,000 in back rent. The tenant has other ideas, as he claimed Gorga got a lot of rent money from the state due to a COVID relief program.

Joe’s attorney, W. Peter Ragan, said Joe collected nearly $40,000 in COVID rental assistance from NJ. The laser then claimed that the man hasn’t paid rent on his own since October 2018 and still owes Joe the nearly $50K sum.

Ragan said that while Gorga initially felt bad for the man, he has now filed eviction papers. The tenant stated he’s a restaurant manager who lost his job during COVID and is still trying to find his footing. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Thirsty.
