Roddy Ricch was scheduled for a huge set at yesterday’s New York Governor’s Ball. Unfortunately, fans didn’t get to see him perform as he was arrested just before the show. Specifics on why Roddy was picked up by the police are now emerging.

Fans who showed up to see Roddy’s set were met with a message noting that Roddy Ricch would not be performing. This caused a lot of confusion, as the story hadn’t reached the public. News of his arrest followed soon after.

TMZ has now released further details on the arrest of Roddy Ricch. The rapper was picked up along with two other people riding in his car on weapons charges. Police found a loaded firearm and a large-capacity magazine that were ready to fire.

Ricch has been charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, and unlawful possession of the same. Those are some serious charges, particularly in New York City. Roddy Ricch will now have to prepare his legal defense.
