Britney Spears Blasts Kelly Clarkson Over Resurfaced ‘Blackout Era’ Comments

Britney Spears’ life has been a life full of difficulties and hurdles, mostly because of her torturous 13-year conservatorship under her father. Fortunately, her conservatorship was brought to an end last year in November. She also blasted Kelly Clarkson over her previous comments back in 2007.

Spears’ very public meltdown back in 2007 is well known by now. That was the main reason she was put into the conservatorship in the first place. She was criticized for saving her hair and hitting a paparazzi’s car with an umbrella.

At the time she dropped the critically acclaimed album Blackout. American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson was promoting her project My December. Back then, she spoke on station Q100 and claimed that Spears was just messing around with everyone.

“Man, but wouldn’t it be funny if she’s just totally screwing with everyone? Cause it’d be real funny if she were like, ‘just kidding!’” Kelly went on to the hosts. “I mean, think about it. She’s done no press for her album, which I love by the way…She’s done no press, just gets so much press off all this other stuff

Britney Spears took to Instagram after the interview resurfaced and put Kelly Clarkson on blast for her 2007 comments.

Kelly Clarkson has yet to respond to Britney Spears and it is unlikely she will do so. Spears will get married to Sam Asghari very soon, in fact she might be married by the time you read this, and that is all that she can care about right now.
