Kanye West is a very busy man and everyone deserves some time off. After all, you can’t work all day and never get a break, no matter how dedicated you are to your profession. The nonstop grind can be enough to break anyone, including Ye. Now it appears that the Donda rapper is taking some time.

Vory worked with Ye for a while, at least the last couple of years. He was by Kanye West’s side through all sorts of drama and creative experiences as he helped out with Donda and Donda 2. The Grammy-winner sat down with Complex where he discussed Kanye West. In the process, Vory said that fans shouldn’t expect to hear anything near from Kanye West this year.

“The person who made me realize my twisted thoughts weren’t so twisted was Ye, because we think alike. I was just talking to him today.”

“We’ve been talking through my best friend who’s also his assistant, because he hasn’t been wanting to talk to anybody. He’s taking a year off, and he was like, ‘Damn, you think Vory is going to be mad at me if I don’t go to his release party?’ And I was like, ‘Nah, you’re straight, bro.’ He’s battling his own shit. That’s my dog, I learned a lot from him.”

Kanye West’s Donda 2 is out on Stem and it appears that he is finally done tweaking it after the release of “Daylight.” Now fans will have to wait for his next musical offering, but it might not be wise to hold your breath.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
