Machine Gun Kelly Reunites With His Mother Who Abandoned Him When He Was 9

Machine Gun Kelly recently had a huge reunion. While MGK has a lot of love in his life already from Megan Fox, there has always been something missing. Now, the rapper has another woman in his life: His mother.

Kelly shared a snapshot of the duo on Instagram recently. It is the first time he has revealed a photo of his mom to his legion of followers. Machine Gun shot up two middle fingers while his mother gave a peace sign.

It was revealed in the 2019 song “Burning Memories” that Kelly’s mother left him when he was just 9 years old. Kelly was deeply hurt by the act of disloyalty. Now, the two have reunited.

“Yeah, this one’s for the mama that I never knew. I took aside just to burn all of my memories of you. How’d you leave your only child at nine for another dude? Took that pain and punched my father in the stomach ’til he bled All the years that you ignored me, left me sleepless in bed, I hope that he got some kids because your only son is dead.”

Machine Gun Kelly’s father passed away in July of 2020. That was the one-year anniversary of the release of “Burning Memories.” Now, he has filled a major void in his life by reuniting with his long-lost mother.

MGK is set to marry Megan Fox soon. It is likely that having a parent at the ceremony will make things much easier. It is great to see Kelly and his mom reunite after so many years of bad blood.
