Hollywood legend Raymond Liotta was best-known for his roles as Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams, Henry Hill in Goodfellas and Tommy Vercetti in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Liotta died in his sleep while filming “Dangerous Waters” in the Dominican Republic. The last known public appearances of Ray Liotta depicted pleasant times for the critically renowned actor.

On May 1st, he was last seen holding hands with his fiancée, Jacy Nittolo in public. After a Sunday supper at Spruzzo Italian restaurant in Pacific Palisades, California, where Liotta lived, the two were seen walking in excellent spirits. Since Christmas 2020, the couple has been engaged.

Liotta’s final social media post came two days later. He talked about his forthcoming project, the Elizabeth Banks-directed film “Cocaine Bear,” which is set to be released in February 2023. According to IMDb, Liotta has multiple future projects, including “Cocaine Bear.”

Cocaine Bear follows an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of the white powder and goes on a coke-fueled rampage seeking more blow — and blood.

Liotta made the post along with an image of a Hollywood Reporter piece confirming the film’s theatrical release, which is currently in post-production. The actor, who was most remembered for his roles in “Goodfellas,” “Field of Dreams,” and “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,” passed away peacefully in his sleep. His cause of death and other specifics were unknown on Thursday, but many people were shocked by his unexpected passing. RIP.
