Kanye West teased some form of potential collaboration with McDonald’s earlier today. Ye has some history with the company. He appeared in a commercial for the fast-food giant during Super Bowl LVI.

There was a lot of speculation over what Kanye West meant by his Instagram post. Ye referenced his track, “Gold Digger” and posted a strange-looking McDonald’s-branded sandwich. We now know what West has been up to.

Kanye made a follow-up post on Instagram shortly after his mysterious IG Story image. Kanye said he is teaming up with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to reimagine the way McDonald’s food is packaged.

“Ye teams up with legendary Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to reimagine McDonald’s packaging”

Kanye West did not indicate if this was an official collaboration or simply a hobby project in his post. It would be extremely strange for a world-famous rap mogul to do design work on spec for a massive corporation, so it is safe to assume that Kanye has support from beneath the arches.

We will have to wait and see what comes of this new Kanye West collab. It certainly isn’t Donda 3. Whatever his motivation, Kanye is lovin’ it!
