The Migos are undoubtedly one of the most influential trios in the industry, with three kings of hip-hop stardom. When Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff perform together, the stage is always ablaze with energy. Recently just to spice things up MIGOS fueled breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram.
Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff’s future as a trio made fans worried after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Offset stopped following Quavo and Takeoff on social media. Takeoff still follows Offset even though Quavo does not. Cardi B, Offset’s wife, has also stopped following Quavo and Takeoff.
The group has yet to respond to the split allegations, but that hasn’t stopped social media users from speculating that the “Walk It Talk It” trio is having trouble in paradise. Quavo and Takeoff are poised to release their new collaboration, “Hotel Lobby,” on Friday as their new pair, “Unc and Phew,” amid the speculation. Quavo teased the video with a clip of his nephew.
The trio has been focusing on separate projects since their last album, Culture III, was released in June. Quavo confirmed plans for his sophomore solo album and hinted at a Migos tour in October, but no dates were disclosed. Culture III will be the final installment in the series according to Quavo. Also, Quavo had an interview with Complex and XXL where he discussed about Culture album.
“That was the last Culture chapter. The next thing’s gonna be something different. We have to turn the page. I feel like we did our job with that.”
“All of the great groups that we’ve seen have never let their group be what they could have been. Ain’t nothing gonna stop us but us and God. Everything else is in this water.”
Migos are still set to perform at a number of festivals this year, including Governors Ball next month, Rolling Loud Toronto in September, and Life Is Beautiful in October. Hopefully, things aren’t so bad between them that they won’t be able to make those obligations. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
