Sydney Sweeney was thrust into the spotlight after her appearance on the hit HBO show, Euphoria. Her current appearance in Euphoria, however, has cost her heavily. Sydney Sweeney has been sued for allegedly bailing on a swimsuit deal.

TMZ reports that Sweeney has been sued for breach of contract with a swimwear brand. According to a new complaint, Sydney Sweeney broke her deal with a swimwear company to advertise their items. Sydney then turned around and wore the suits on “Euphoria.”

The swim and lifestyle business LA Collective sued the HBO star for alleged infringement of her contract to model and promote the company’s swimwear. The fashion label claimed to have established an agreement with Sydney last year to use her as an influencer for the debut of their new line, “Somewhere Swimwear.”

Sydney appeared to be on board at first and approved all of their designs and production prototypes. Then suddenly her staff abruptly canceled the agreement without reason or cause, refusing to advance, according to the brand. Sydney allegedly copied the designs for her personal use, wearing the bikinis on at least 5 episodes of “Euphoria,” according to the brand.

The swimwear business claimed that they anticipated selling more than $3 million in garments as part of the arrangement, and they want the actress to pay hefty penalties if she cancels. What’s your take on this litigation? For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
