Mario Batali, the world renowned celebrity chef, just got a big weight off his shoulders. The TV popular chef was facing multiple sexual allegations which led to his eventual downfall. Batali is now celebrating victory after a judge cleared him of all the charges he was facing. Now it is time to rehab his image.

According to TMZ, Boston Municipal Court Judge James Stanton cleared Mario Batali of charges that he groped a woman at a Boston bar. On Tuesday, the judge found him not guilty of indecent battery and assault.

The trial after which Batali was acquitted reportedly lasted less than two days. It was also noted that the conclusion of the case was decided by a judge and not a jury. The judge gave a following statement before announcing his decision.

“Its an understatement to say that Mr. Batali did not cover himself in glory on the night in question. His conduct and his appearance and demeanor were not befitting on a public person of his stature at that time. But ultimately “this case is about credibility,” the judge said, and Tene [Batali’s accuser] “has significant credibility issues.”
