Chris Hemsworth truly made a name for himself by portraying the role of Thor, the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. After Avengers: Endgame, half of the original Avengers have retired from active duty, with Hawkeye, Hulk and Thor being the only heroes left.

Chris Hemsworth’s role as Thor truly set him apart from other actors around that time. Thor is known for wielding his mighty hammer, known as Mjolnir, in all the films.

According to TMZ, Chris Hemsworth’s Mjolnir from the first ‘Thor’ film will be going on auction soon. The movie prop, known as Stunt Mjolnir Hammer and is expected to be sold for at least $100,000 next month in one of the world’s largest live auctions of film and TV memorabilia.

Propstore will be handling the auction and they also auction items from blockbusters like ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Back To The Future,’ ‘Cast Away,’ and ‘Freddy vs. Jason.’

The auction is projected to rake in $9 million. There are more than 1,800 rare and iconic items going up for sale during Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction. It will take place from June 22 to June 24, live from the auction house’s U.S. HQ in Valencia, CA and streaming online.
