The Covid 19 wave doesn’t appear to have tamed down in Hollywood at all, despite the ease of regulations. Last month, Stephen Colbert tested positive for the virus which now led his talk show to suffer heavy consequences.

The Late Show will pause filming “until further notice” while host Stephen Colbert continues to recover from COVID-19. The show’s Twitter account broke the news on Twitter, Monday.

“Stephen is experiencing symptoms consistent with a recurrence of COVID. Out of an abundance of caution for his staff, guests, and audience, he will be isolating for a few additional days. The Late Show will not be taping new episodes until further notice,” the tweet read

The last episode of The Late Show aired on Friday, where Chris O’Donnell and Elvis Costello appeared as guests. At the time when Colbert tested positive for the virus, it caused the cancellation of the tapings of his show. But now it has gone on complete hiatus.
