Christina Hall had a less than ideal Mother’s Day celebration. The television personality shared on social media that that her son Brayden was in the ER. Her announcement sent fans into a state of worry.

The HGTV star posted a photo of her 6-year-old boy sleeping in a hospital bed. She explained in the post that he had been admitted for an emergency appendectomy as well as removal of Meckel’s diverticulum. It’s certainly not what she was expecting for Mother’s Day.

Hall revealed in the caption that, “After being admitted to the ER, Brayden had to have an emergency appendectomy as well as removal of Meckel’s diverticulum early this morning,” According to Cleveland Clini, Meckel’s diverticulum is a small pouch located in the wall of the intestine, which is a leftover of the umbilical cord.

Thankfully, the reality star went on to say that the surgery was a success and that her baby boy was recovering just fine. She wrapped up her caption by thanking staff at the hospital where Brayden was treated, as well as her current husband, realtor Joshua Hall.

Hall is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead. Ant recently filed for full custody of their son Hudson while accusing her of putting him at medical risk. Hall shares Brayden and daughter Taylor, 11, with her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 40, who she was married to from 2009 to 2018. Meanwhile, you can check out her post below.
