Justin Bieber is currently one of the most successful pop artists in the world. He also adopted the nickname Biebervelli as he delved more into R&B, but he now believes to have a stronger bond with Tupac Shakur.

During a recent interview with Power 106, Bieber spoke about his connection with God, which has clearly influenced his songs recently. He explained that when it comes to proclaiming their faith in their art and personal lives, he finds “similarities” between himself and the late rapper.

“Wow. Yeah, I mean, as you know, I’ve always been a big 2Pac fan. … But yeah, I definitely have grown in my journey with my faith.

And I definitely feel like we have some similarities when it comes to just our conviction about wanting to tell people about God’s love for them.”

Bieber has previously stated his admiration for Tupac Shakur. He previously ranked the “California Love” rapper among his favorite five all-time artists, and he even performed a version of “Thugz Mansion” in 2016.

Last week, Bieber released “Honest,” a collaboration with Don Toliver. He also released “I Feel Funny,” which features a Don Toliver cameo. Bieber appears to be preparing to release a new album in the near future.
