Gabrielle Union made a name for herself in 2000’s Bring It On and since then has appeared on a variety of TV shows and films. She also likes spending a lot of money on her family. Union is happy married to Dwayne Wade as well.

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union have always been very vocal when it came to supporting their daughter Zaya. However, the journey has seen not been an easy one for anyone involved.

Dwyane Wade’s daughter Zaya announced her transition as just a young teen and the world certainly had a divided opinion on the matter.

Wade and Union have been supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community and continue helping others. While speaking to Variety during the Met Gala, Wade and Union revealed how they give support to trans children.

“Just being a father and just seeing our child grow up every day and doing what you’re supposed to be doing as a parent. It’s to make sure that you sit back and see what it is in life that they want to do, and try to go there with them, and try to help them, mold them into what it is they want to be and who they want to be.”

So, we’re just doing our part as parents. We love our kids. We get to see them every day. That’s what people on the outside don’t get to see, but we know them and we see them all the time.” Union chimed in with a thought: “And we believe them when they tell us who they are.

I would say, the moment when you were in the hospital and you grabbed your daughter and you looked at your daughter, and all the things that went through your mind, all the emotions that went through your mind, how much love filled your heart at that moment. Don’t let that ever leave you. No matter what

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union are truly wonderful and supportive parents and that is all that matters right now. We hope more such parents continue to exist in the world.
