Bodybuilder Shane Post has been competing as a bodybuilder for years. He won the 2017 Mr. Pittsburgh competition along the way. However, he was apparently shot last week and is still in the hospital.
According to TMZ, Post was attacked in the torso last Tuesday after an altercation with a neighbor over a parking space at his Dallas home. Post was transferred to the intensive care unit after suffering damage to his colon, liver, and kidney.
Luckily the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. While in his ICU room, he recorded an interview with Pittsburgh Action News, claiming that the bullet was still inside him at the time.
The bodybuilder said:
“The bullet is still in me.”
The video shows that the shooter approaches Post and another individual while wearing a robe. They exchange words before the gun is fired, hurting Post in front of his wife and 3-month-old baby.
Post is likely to be in the hospital for a few more days, according to the report. The alleged shooter, Nikki Brown, was apprehended and put into jail by police. He has now been released on bond after being charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Brown became enraged, according to Shane Post’s wife Irina when Shane’s friend parked in his assigned spot. Brown had previous encounters with the pair, but this time he came at them with a loaded gun hidden in his robe pocket, she added. However, people here from Thirsty wish him a speedy recovery.
